Ryker's first time eating cereal

4 Months Old!!!

Our little guy is growing so fast! Because of his cold I took him to his four month appt two weeks early and our Dr. prescribed him some amoxicillin to help get rid of his cough. He loved taking the medicine and would gobble it down. Even when he is sick he is still so happy and playful. At the appt., Ryker weighed 14 lbs. 9 oz. and was 26.5 inches long. His head circumference was 16.5. Here are some facts about ry ry at this age.

-he smiles and laughs all the time
-he talks to his toys and sometimes yells at them
-has sounded like he has said hi when I said hi to him
-tries to grab and eat everything in his reach
-has pet a cat on his own
-has started eating a little cereal
-loves his feet
-occasionally has teething pain
-is doing much better driving in the car
-loves walks
-loves Disney songs
-likes story time
-tries to talk to videos of other babies on my phone
-loves singing
-loves being outside

Our little bug is three months!!!

I can't believe how fast Ryker is growing! He is such a sweet boy and so much fun. At three months he weighs 13 lb. 14 oz. Here are a few facts about our little guy:

We love him more than anything
He has had his first cold, poor little boy. It was really hard to see him sick, but he still smiled all the time
He is laughing a lot
He loves getting dry at the "car wash" after a bath
He has some pretty good hair coming in
He hates tummy time, but is really good at it
He loves his hands, they are always in his mouth

He loves to look at ceiling fans

He tries to blow raspberries
He sits in his bumbo for a few minutes than arches his back to try and get out
He tries to grab his toys with his feet
He loves baths
He does not love the car so much anymore

Ryker's Blessing

On Sunday June 3 we had Ryker's blessing. Jeremy did a great job blessing him. Our families were able to come and share the special day with us. Ryker was wide awake during his blessing and didn't cry at all, what a good boy! It was a wonderful day for our family. We are so grateful for the church in our lives.

Ryker's 2 month check-up

Today was Ryker's second Dr. visit. We are one day early but I have to go back to work tomorrow so we had to squeeze it in. He was so good during his check up but cried during his shots which was expected. It was still very hard to see him so upset though. The rest of the day he was pretty fussy and just wanted to be comforted, poor little guy. Here are his stats:
Weight: 12 lb 2.5 oz
Height: 23.25 inches
Head circumference: 15.7 inches

At this age he

Wears 3-6 month clothes
Smiles
Coos and babbles
Holds his head up all by himself all of the time
Kicks his legs nonstop
Always likes to be busy
Loves to snuggle
Likes singing and peekaboo
Has started to grab at things
Tries to suck on his whole hand
Is very observant
Laughs in his sleep
Pouts by sticking out his lower lip when he is upset

Whenever he is fussy I can just pick him up and whisper in his ear and he calms right down.

He is happier when he has more sleep just like his dad.

Ryker had his first professional pictures done at 1 and 1/2 weeks old.  He was not happy at first, all he wanted to do was eat.  Luckily, after some nursing he fell asleep and then we were able to get a few pictures without him screaming.  I still think even the pictures with him screaming are adorable though!
