7 months!!!

Ryker is so much fun! We love having him as a part of our family. He has been trying to crawl for a month now and is getting so good at it! He also climbs to standing and has stood for a few seconds without holding on to anything. He loves going for walks and has gone to his first corn maze! He eats Cheerios and little baby cheese puffs and cereal stars. He smiles and laughs all the time. When he gets tired he gets in a loopy stage where he rolls around, buries his face in the bed, gets up and crawls a little, rolls around some more, it is adorable. He has become a fan of eating while he is sitting in his jumper. He will bounce a little, stop to eat a bite, and then go crazy bouncing. He went trick or treating as bugs bunny, but we didn't actually collect any candy. He loves to pet the cats, especially Fiji who will put up with anything. We are so excited for Ry's first holiday season.

6 Months Old

I took Ryker to his six month appointment a few weeks ago and he was measuring in the 50th percentile across the board.  His weight was 17.8 lb, height was 26.5 in, and head was 17.5.  He also had to get his six month shots but he didn't cry as much as he had in the past which made me very happy!  Here are some pictures and fun stats about Ry at this age:

-He has been tailgating and to BYU games
-He sits up by himself
-He eats very well, he loves turkey and sweet potatoes baby food
-He likes to feed himself
-He loves army crawling everywhere
-He loves blankets and snuggling
-He hates to have his face cleaned/ nose wiped
-He loves to smile and laugh
-He loves other kids and babies
-When he is getting sleepy he will talk to himself in the cutest voice til he falls asleep

5 months old

Our little cutie just keeps growing by leaps and bounds. It is hard to imagine that he has only been part of our lives for such a short time and yet he is our whole world. Here are some fun facts about Ry at this age:

He tries to feed himself
He still fights to go to sleep at night
He rolls over both ways all the time
He really wants to crawl
He loves the cats
He laughs a lot, mostly at his dad
He has tried sweet potatoes
He can almost sit up on his own
He has been to his first BYU game
He has used a sippy cup but doesn't prefer it
He loves to throw things off of his high chair
He loves to be naked, I am dreading when he will be able to undress himself
He is wearing mostly 6 to 9 months clothes
He loves to have his back rubbed while he lays on his belly to go to sleep

At times he gets frustrated that he can't get where or what he wants. I feel like he wants to grow up way too fast. I am amazed how smart he is and just love him more and more each day.

4 Months Old!!!

Our little guy is growing so fast! Because of his cold I took him to his four month appt two weeks early and our Dr. prescribed him some amoxicillin to help get rid of his cough. He loved taking the medicine and would gobble it down. Even when he is sick he is still so happy and playful. At the appt., Ryker weighed 14 lbs. 9 oz. and was 26.5 inches long. His head circumference was 16.5. Here are some facts about ry ry at this age.

-he smiles and laughs all the time
-he talks to his toys and sometimes yells at them
-has sounded like he has said hi when I said hi to him
-tries to grab and eat everything in his reach
-has pet a cat on his own
-has started eating a little cereal
-loves his feet
-occasionally has teething pain
-is doing much better driving in the car
-loves walks
-loves Disney songs
-likes story time
-tries to talk to videos of other babies on my phone
-loves singing
-loves being outside

Our little bug is three months!!!

I can't believe how fast Ryker is growing! He is such a sweet boy and so much fun. At three months he weighs 13 lb. 14 oz. Here are a few facts about our little guy:

We love him more than anything
He has had his first cold, poor little boy. It was really hard to see him sick, but he still smiled all the time
He is laughing a lot
He loves getting dry at the "car wash" after a bath
He has some pretty good hair coming in
He hates tummy time, but is really good at it
He loves his hands, they are always in his mouth

He sits in his bumbo for a few minutes than arches his back to try and get out
