This month was a fun month.  My sister Alicia got married this month and we enjoyed celebrating her wedding.  Last month I forgot to post that my Mom and I threw her a shower.  It was a lot of fun and we had croissant sandwiches with caeser salad, sparkling punch and a sugar cookie bar with fruit topping that was delicious.  We played a few games, one where you had to match the wedding tradition to the reasoning behind it.  Another where you had to guess Alicia's age in pictures taken while she was growing up.  We also played a game where we recorded her fiance Cory answering certain questions and then she would have to answer what she thought he would say.  We paused the tape after we asked him each question, then she would guess and then answer what she thought he said.  Then we would reveal the response that he gave.  If it was wrong, she would have to chew a piece of bubble gum.  We also took Ryker to Monster Jam at the Energy Solutions Arena and he loved it.  He is really into trucks and cars lately, as well as trains.

Ryker has to sleep with a truck.  Sometimes up to 8 are in the bed at a time.  If he wakes up he will cry until we hand him a truck and then he'll fall back asleep.

January 2014

January was a pretty uneventful month, but we still managed to have a lot of fun. 

We took Ryker on the Heber Creeper with my Mom and Dad and he loved it.  He didn't want to get off when the ride was over.

He thought he was hilarious with his pajama shorts on his head and he ran up and down the hall laughing.

He went to City Creek with Jeremy's parents and liked watching trax from the overpass.

I got him this cute Thomas robe and he loves wearing it.

We saw the first ultrasound of Ryker's little brother.  Here he is at 11 weeks.  We can't wait to meet him!

Thanksgiving and Christmas 2013

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Grandma Burton's house in Murray.  We also had a gratitude dinner with the Ebell family to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas.  For Christmas Eve we were able to go to Grandma and Grandpa Ault's house in Mount Pleasant and then on Christmas morning we opened presents at Grandma and Grandpa Zimmerman's house and then went over to Grandma and Grandpa Ault's to open more presents and eat breakfast.  We also surprised everyone with Ryker opening a shirt that said "big brother" on it.  We were so excited to be able to share that we are having another baby!  It was a great holiday and so fun to see Ryker celebrate his second Christmas.  He got a lot of fun presents including a ride on train, a home depot tool table and play tools, toy cars from the movie cars, and a mini ATV.  The day after Christmas we took Ryker sledding for the first time and he loved it!  He was laughing and smiling so much.
